Legal Notice

Last updated: 31 May 2026.

This Legal Notice governs your use of Swipeline (the “Site”). By accessing the Site, you agree to the terms that follow. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Publisher

Swipeline is operated by its editorial team as an independent informational resource on card payments in regulated sports betting. The Site does not accept bets, does not hold player funds, does not process card transactions and is not a sportsbook, bank, payment service provider or licensed advisor in any jurisdiction.

Nature of the content

Everything published on the Site is general informational and editorial content. It is not, and must not be treated as, financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, compliance advice or betting advice. It does not take account of your personal circumstances, your jurisdiction, your issuer’s internal policy or your operator’s account status.

Before acting on anything you read here — including any decision to open an account with a sportsbook, fund it with a Mastercard product or any other instrument, or rely on a specific fee, limit or timeframe mentioned on the Site — verify the current rules with the card scheme, your issuer, the operator and the regulator for your jurisdiction. Figures, scheme rules, merchant category assignments, approval behaviour and regulatory positions change, sometimes without public notice.

No warranty

The Site and all content on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of the content. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or free of harmful components.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Swipeline, its editorial team and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your use of the Site or your reliance on any information published on it. This includes, without limitation, any financial loss, any lost bet, any declined transaction, any fee charged by your issuer or acquirer, any action taken by a regulator against you and any interruption of service by a sportsbook.

Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and liability for fraud.

The Site may link to third-party websites, including regulators, card schemes, industry bodies and public news sources. Those websites are operated independently and we do not control their content, their terms of use or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement. You access external sites at your own risk.

Intellectual property

All original text, editorial graphics, page layouts and compiled data sets published on the Site are the intellectual property of Swipeline or its licensors and are protected by the copyright, database and related laws of the applicable jurisdictions. Third-party trade marks, including “Mastercard”, “Visa”, product names of sportsbooks and names of regulators, are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial commentary only. Their appearance on the Site does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.

You may read, print a reasonable number of copies for personal non-commercial use and quote short extracts with proper attribution and a link back to the source article. Any other use, including bulk copying, republication, machine-training ingestion at scale, reselling or framing, requires prior written permission.

User conduct

You agree not to attempt to access any non-public part of the Site, not to probe or scan infrastructure, not to submit malicious code, not to scrape at a rate that places a material burden on our hosting and not to use the Site in violation of the laws of your jurisdiction.

Gambling disclaimers

Sports betting and online gambling involve real financial risk. Anything we publish about deposits, withdrawals, approvals or operator behaviour is descriptive, not promotional. The Site is intended for adults only, and the minimum legal age for gambling is determined by your local law — typically 18 or 21. We do not encourage anyone to open an account, fund a wager or use a credit facility for gambling.

If gambling is affecting you or someone you know, contact a recognised national problem-gambling helpline. The resource links in the footer of the Site point to several of them. Self-exclusion, deposit limits, time-outs and cash-advance blocks at your bank are all simple first steps.

Jurisdiction and governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Site’s publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your own country of residence.
